The University Episcopal Community is a campus & young adult ministry that blesses Minneapolis with stories and meals. Most of us are between the ages of 18-23 and figuring out our next steps in life.  For some of us this is studying; for others of us it's working and for others it's both.  We draw from the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College, MCTC, and folks living and working in the greater Minneapolis area.

We are inspired by story: the Gospel story, our personal stories and the stories that we hear in our neighborhoods, schools and work places.  We believe that by hearing and reflecting on all of these stories we will learn about how we are called to use our energy in our neighborhood.  One big way that we do this is through Stories for Change--an event that we throw twice a semester.

We are inspired by meals: the Last Supper, community potlucks, and grabbing coffee with friends.  We believe that sharing meals and feeding each other enables us to get to know each other on a soul level.  We are also aware that many in our city do not know where their next meal is coming from--we are called to respond to hunger by sharing what we have.

We meet for worship Sundays at 4:30 pm at Grace University Lutheran Church (324 Harvard St SE. Park for free in the Hospital parking ramp on Delaware Ave across the street).  Our worship is based around stories, conversations and music.  We always host a free dinner afterwards.
