Internship Opportunities

Groups help us belong. They’re where we tell stories, ask questions and share life. Right now, our world needs the joy and healing that can come from belonging to a group. That’s why we created this internship -- we’re teaching students like you everything they need to know to facilitate a group that makes meaningful connections.

Why Your Internship Matters

  • 22%

of 20-somethings say they currently have no friendships

  • 70%

of students say they have 3 or fewer meaningful interactions per day

  • 100%

of our interns say they built lasting friendships within their small group

Sound promising? Here’s how it will work.

Whether you’re an introvert, an extrovert, or somewhere in between, this internship is right for you. You’ll be supported by a team of interns all across the country who are bringing people together too!

There are coaches you can turn to for support and three zoom check-ins where we’ll process and learn together. The only thing you need to have is the desire to build a community where you are.

The process …

  • An icon of an open book.

    Step 1

    Read The Art of Gathering.

  • Two talk bubbles indicating discussion.

    Step 2

Decide on your group’s focus with your internship advisor.

  • The screen of a mobile phone showing a chat.

    Step 3

Invites friends, neighbors, or random folks to meet 5X this semester.

  • A group of four people chatting.

    Step 4

Use your story circle to build community.
