Spring @ UEC — Sunday Gatherings

Sunday Gathering is our chance to press pause on our busy lives & spend time with each other and God. Expect a delicious meal that’s way better than dorm food, deep conversation with friendly students and a message that grounds you in the midst of the chaos.

All Sunday Gatherings are at Riverside Lounge (403 SE 8th Ave) unless noted.

JANUARY

Jan 18 @ 4:30 pm: Welcome Back Sunday - Our first Dinner Church of the semester.

Jan 25 @ 4:30 pm: Dinner Church — the best part of a dinner party mashed up with the best part of a church service.

FEBRUARY

Feb 1 @ 4:30 pm: Dinner Church - The best part of a dinner party mashed up with the best part of a church service.

Feb 6-8 @ Chicago: Spring Retreat - (NO DINNER CHURCH) - Join up with other college students from around the Midwest in our annual retreat to Chicago

Feb 15 @ 4:30 pm: Dinner Church - The best part of a dinner party mashed up with the best part of a church service.

TUES Feb 17, 10 am - 1 pm: Pancake Day! - Join us in celebrating this delicious pre-Lent Episcopal tradition. Drop in to the Lounge anytime between 10 and 1 to eat pancakes!

WED Feb 18, Evening TBD: Ash Wednesday - Celebrate the start of Lent at local churches. (Steve and Larry will be at Grace Episcopal if you want to join us)

MARCH

Mar 1 @ 12: UEC at the Theater - Meet up at the Lounge at noon for lunch. We’ll carpool to Artistry Theater’s production of The Mountaintop, a powerful, uplifting and timely play about MLK Jr.

Apr 5: NO UEC — HAPPY EASTER - Celebrate at local churches! (Steve and Larry will be at Grace Episcopal if you want to join us)

Apr 19 @ 4:30 pm: Solidarity Variety Show — Music, comedy, storytelling & more! An evening where we raise awareness and funds for a student-selected social justice issue.
