Steve Mullaney

A former comedy writer and a forever community organizer, Steve serves as Executive Director of UEC. Steve works with students, staff and community members to build communities full of faith, joy & justice. Reach out to Steve if you're a new student, curious about getting involved or if you're interested in partnering with one of our communities.
James Eiden
Project & Communications Coordinator

James is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota who enjoys queer literature, Letterboxd, and taking a hike. As project and communications coordinator, James aims to connect UEC with the community and is currently working to develop the Riverside Lounge into a valuable community gathering space. Daniella Garber
Riverside Host and QVS
She/Her
Daniella is our primary host at the Riverside Lounge as a volunteer through Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS). She is living in an intentional community with other Quaker volunteers and recently graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a degree in mathematics and religion. Daniella is active in religious life and interfaith programming and, in Pennsylvania, supports statewide advocacy across hunger, health, housing, immigration, and environmental issues. Growing up, Daniella experienced a wide range of Christian denominations and traditions and is excited to continue exploring spiritual life and faith-based community building during her QVS year with UEC and Riverside Lounge.
